Researchers create ‘bionic’ ear using 3D printing of cells and nanoparticles

Scientists from Princeton University’s School of Engineering have created a “bionic” ear using off-the-shelf printing tools. The ear is able to “hear” radio frequencies that the the normal human ear can’t.

The purpose of this project was to look into ways to merge electronics with tissue.
